What do I need to get a library card?

If you live in the Sedro Woolley School District, outside the city limits of Sedro Woolley, Lyman, and Hamilton, you are eligible to receive a library card at no cost.

To obtain a card, stop by the District office and fill out an application. A photo ID is required for identification.

If your current address is not printed on your ID, you will need to provide a document with proof of your address such as a bank statement, utility bill, imprinted check, rental agreement, rent receipt, or canceled mail. If you have recently moved and cannot verify your new address, we can mail a postcard to you. Children under the age of 18 who wish to apply for a library card must have a parent or guardian accompany them to the District office. The parent or guardian will need to bring his/her photo ID and if necessary, proof of current address.
